PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy Policy: how Souq Ore protects your corporate file

This policy explains what information Souq Ore collects through souqore.com, the RFQ form, WhatsApp and email, why we need it, and how long we keep it.

Initiate due diligence

What we collect

Only what a lawful mineral transaction requires.

  • Contact and company details submitted through RFQ and inquiry forms
  • KYC and AML records: registration, beneficial ownership, source of funds
  • Basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited

Why we use it

To answer quotes, verify counterparties, meet export, sanctions and anti-money-laundering obligations, prepare shipping documents and protect the integrity of each lot.

Who sees it

Access is limited to the Souq Ore staff who need it. When a transaction demands disclosure, competent authorities, inspection bodies, insurers, the appointed secure carrier and the buyer's licensed clearing agent may also receive it. We do not sell personal data.

Storage and security

Data travels over HTTPS. Sensitive documents are exchanged directly with verified counterparties under contract, never on public pages.

Retention and your rights

KYC and transaction records are kept for the period required by applicable law. You may ask to access, correct or delete data we are not legally required to keep by writing to sales@souqore.com.

Registered office

Souq Ore, Merelani, Simanjiro District, Manyara Region, Tanzania, 27609.

Where this page and a signed Souq Ore sales contract differ, the signed contract governs.

Questions buyers ask

Do you share my RFQ with other buyers?
No. RFQ details are never shown to other buyers or published.
Why do you need beneficial-ownership data?
Precious-mineral trade is high-risk under AML rules; identifying the real owner is a legal requirement, not a formality.
